Update #11: Ms Mola Plan B 75 percent funded - we are close!

After several new pledges today, we have hit $7425 of our $9850 needed for the Ms. Mola campaign... That means we are now at 75 percent with today's pledges! We have four days to go, so let's kick the campaign into overdrive:

Here's some fantastic news, too - we are now in discussions to complete a FULL 13 episodes of the show, if (and when) this campaign is successful! So not one episode, not three... But 13! Like, wow!

Update #10: Second Ms. Mola's Make-Ola campaign goes into high gear!
Wow! What a first week!

Thanks to the 23 backers who have helped out with their generous pledges! With yesterday's pledges we just crossed the 70 percent funded threshold- We still have 11 days to go - we are in good shape, but now is the time for us to turn up the heat! Please remind your friends about the deadline- we have until 11:59 EST on April 11 to cross the 100 percent funded mark.
P.S. Just a reminder - to any parties that made a pledge to the first campaign, the funding was cancelled, and a new extension campaign was started to continue the show. Anyone who pledged to the first campaign will NOT be charged. Your pledge will only count if you choose to renew it by making a pledge at the new link: http://kck.st/cIPlUN Also, you do not need to make the same pledge as before. It is an entirely new campaign, so any amount you choose is greatly appreciated!

PLAN B is a big theme of "Ms. Mola's Make-ola!" for a very important reason - because life is full of a need for them, and it's an important coping skill to pass on, for all ages! The most direct way to a goal may be a straight line, but life is always throwing us curvy roads - and let's face it - the scenic route really is more beautiful if we take the time to look out the window.
What I see looking out my metaphoric window right now is a bunch of really awesome friends, family, and even supporters I have never met, drawn to supporting the cause of bringing an uplifting, empowering creative message to kids. It is a beautiful sight. You are all treasures to me. I know that many of you have pledged your support even in the face of your own financial struggles. Wow. I am truly blessed and humbled.
Our goal with Ms. Mola's PLAN B Kickstarter Campaign is to keep on keepin' on, as the saying goes. Inch by inch, row by row, we (together!) will make this garden grow, and help grow the minds of kids (of all ages!) who are in need of a time and space in their lives to be creative. Kids need this now more than ever, in their increasingly regimented lives - just time to be, and to explore the seeds of their own ideas and watch them grow! This is powerful and life-changing stuff! I am so glad I have you all along for the ride to witness it taking off on its curvy, exciting and scenic journey. It is a beautiful thing!

Update #5: Bwa, Ha, Ha, Ha....Ha! It's "No Mola!"
You've seen em' around. Maybe on a bus. At the mall. At your school, your office- maybe even... in your own family.
Seems there's one everywhere... there is always someone out there who JUST doesn't get it. Who just isn't, well... COOL.
You see them throw trash out of a car, or they throw their cans and bottles in the garbage instead of the recycling bin. Or, maybe they leave all the lights on when they leave the house... on PURPOSE!
Any way, it's hard to believe, but these types are STILL around. Our program is trying to show these folks how fun, hip, exciting, fashionable and awesome it is to recycle, be creative and think green for future generations...
And we were doing a swell, fine job at it too- if we do say ourselves. That is until one day... the day SHE showed up.
We had heard rumors. We didn't believe it. But yes- the rumors were true. And now we have the undeniable proof. There is... a "NO MOLA".
(DUN dun DUUUUNNNNNH!!! cue the lightning flashes, wind sound FX and shrieks of bats and stuff...)
Why does she look sneakily close to "Ms. Mola" herself? Why does she do such strange things or think the way she does? I mean- what is with that ATTITUDE?
Frankly... we don't know. We fear however, that it is quite possible that when this Kickstarter campaign is funded, she may even be making appearances on the show. If that happens, we will find out the answers to these questions, and try and change her mind... before it's too late.
Here she is, in video too terrifying to imagine... We could try and explain, but well- it's just better if you have a look for yourself. And please, now IS the time to usher small children and those with a weak constitution from the room- Click on the video.... IF YOU DARE.

Update #4: Great first week... Momentum-ola is building!
Hello all!
We had a great first week- we just reached the twenty awesome backer mark today, with more coming in all the time! We have had backers of all sizes, thank you everyone for all of your pledges... We CAN do this.
Something that all fans can do, what will really, really help is to browse back to the project tab, where you see our welcome video and "Ms. Mola Make-Ola" show logo... Then you'll see the areas where you can cut and paste a link into an email, or where you can copy the link to put on Facebook... There's even a fancy button you can add to your site or blog!
If every one can forward one of these link methods to five friends, or your kids, or your neighbors, and then ask them to do the same, it will keep those pledges rolling in, and the backer party growing and growing!

Update #3: New Character: The Mysterious "Miss Teree!"
Another new character planned for the show: "Miss Teree!"
Miss Teree loves travelling the globe, uncovering mysterious knowledge...
Pronounced “Miss Teh-REE,” she is a cool and fashionable world explorer who pops in for on-line video chats with Ms. Mola and the Kids, excited about interesting facts she can’t wait to share!
Whether it’s a cultural story learned on-location, an interesting crafty technique, unusual artistic discovery, or environmental tid-bit, Miss Teree can’t wait to let everyone know, and then she’s on her never-ending quest for more info!
Miss Teree is played by the talented actress Levette Davila... we are proud to welcome Levette to the show, and look forward to her upcoming performances in this role!
Update #2: New Character: "Reese on his Cycle" joins the show!
Check out this new character "Reese on his Cycle"... Reese delivers interesting items he's found on his journeys, so the kids can make cool stuff...
Reese is played by our good friend Heath Jones, who is an incredible actor as well as a talented writer, producer and director of his own independent films.
We look forward to working with Heath much more in the future!

Ms. Mola is very excited, and she and all the characters like "Sockytoe" and "Shosetta" were there, along with "Can Dude" who was rattling with energy, "Topper," who couldn't keep a lid on his enthusiasm, and "Newster" who kept shouting "Read all about it!" to name just a few of the new "Recyc-olas"...

Douglas Pritchard, founder of StarfieldStudios.com is the writer & director of numerous award winning film & television projects. Douglas Pritchard is currently finishing post production on two short horror films: "The Shed," and "Inner Beauty." Both films are slated for use in the upcoming horror/thriller anthology style feature film entitled “The Manslaughter.”
Mr. Pritchard is also acting as a producer for the upcoming feature length documentary entitled "Noise - The Tinnitus Feature Film."
Starfield Studios recently provided the orchestrator, score coordinator, orchestra contractor, and music preparation services for the feature horror film "Cassadaga." They also provided the studio resources and production support to help with the production of the newly released dramatic feature "The Whisper Home."
Mr. Pritchard recently performed as a musician on the soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino’s remake of "Inglorious Basterds" which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture of the Year in 2009. In addition, he also performed live with John Williams and the Orlando Philharmonic for the grand opening of "Harry Potter's Wizarding World" at Universal Studios.
Mr, Pritchard has also performed live with numerous celebrities including Pavorotti, Andrea Bocelli, Johhny Mathis, Henry Mancini, Kyle Cook of "Matchbox 20", "Styx," "Duran Duran" and more.
Mr. Pritchard has also recorded on several Platinum selling albums including works by Sarah Brightman, ("La Luna" DVD), Ginuwine ("Ginuwine, Ginuwine") Julio Iglesias and Simone on the Angel, Sony, Summit and other record labels.
Mr. Pritchard got his start in the film biz as an actor/musician, appearing in a live orchestra scene with Roy Scheider for a "Sea Quest" episode filmed in the early nineties.
