*UPDATE 1/7/12* I can't believe my luck! Everyone has been SO generous- I'm 136% funded!  THANK YOU to all who have contributed!

As of this moment I'll be getting the entire $1,000 after fees. That's fantastic! Should I be even more fortunate and go beyond my current funding it will go toward:

• more studio time (because you can NEVER have enough). Extra days of mixing are always preferable. When you take a mix home and live with it for a bit you can tell what really needs to be done!
• Pressing the physical CDs (in a larger quantity)
• My Pacific NW tour in June

So if you like my music and would still like to contribute, there are many things that the money can go to. I'm making great strides and have a lot coming up including my new EP, tour, my first nationally syndicated radio show, music video and more! I'm working hard and your contributions will make a HUGE difference!

First of all, THANK YOU for visiting my project! Please enjoy my music, ask me questions and visit my links. I want you to get the total picture and all of the info you need.

In the past few years --on a pure leap of faith-- I've been working hard on something I never thought I would have the luxury of pursuing: MUSIC! I've gone from playing for free on the streets of a real California Ghost Town turned Regional Park, to being a paid resident at that park, participating in some wonderful collaborations, headlining a small tour (gotta start somewhere!) and recording an NPR show (River City Folk with Tom May) which will air at the end of January. Things are going well! Also in January 2012: I start work on a 7-8 track EP with musicians I REALLY admire. Here's where I need the help. 

Through gigs and touring I've saved enough for the EP guest musicians and studio time (go me!). If you want it done right (listen to my current album for the quality I'm talking about) that's not cheap and will need to include mixing and mastering. I had a gig lined up to provide the funds for the mixing and mastering, but as life goes, things happened and it fell through. Now I'm scrambling to get the cash and deadlines are approaching...quickly!

Here's what I already have covered: All the studio time (50+ hours), guest musicians and engineering.  

What I need: Funds for mixing/mastering and 100 CD's to get things rolling. The $1,000 will cover that, Amazon/Kickstarter fees and fulfilling your rewards.

***For international backers: I humbly ask that you cover shipping charges. I will do my best to cover what I can, but it can go VERY quickly if I'm shipping several packages all over the world. If half of my goal goes to shipping it'll defeat the purpose, as I'm sure you understand! We will discuss this when I get to the point of shipping.Thank you!!
