John McCullough on January 15, 2010

Not to give too much away, but I've got inside track on this project (I happen to know the author). I've actually been avoiding the bonus content on the site to avoid reading any spoilers. I was hooked after the first page and wanted to read the rest as freshly as I read that page.

Well, the other night my curiosity got the better of me, and I asked a few questions about the book, the characters and the world they live in. While I may have ruined some surprises for myself, the answers I got just made me want to ask more questions. Can't wait for the finished product.

Reet wrote a lot of things, and she even edited some books that were published. I think nothing she wrote ever was published in book form. So, you are IT! Keep up the good work. And happy birthday!

Thanks Steve! I'm jazzed too (though I was having trouble focusing on it this evening). Thanks for supporting the book and for commenting. (And I wonder if I'm really the first McCullough author in this line. There's GOT to be someone else along the way. Your mom never wrote anything?)

Darlene, this is very exciting!! I'm looking forward to the finished product, AND to having a real live author in the family!
