Hey folks,
Our goal for Under the Western Sun is very simple. We would like to create an entertaining family comedy that tells the story of a father and a son reuniting after being estranged for years, using smart humor and memorable characters that people can relate to.
The script captures just that. With our talented cast, experienced crew and an incredible historic location in Smithville, TX, Under the Western Sun promises to be a feel good film, which everyone can enjoy. Supporting family values and small town America, Under the Western Sun will no doubt win the hearts of it's viewers.
We have been very fortunate to film in Smithville, TX a wonderful small town, where big feature films like Hope Floats and Tree of Life have shot.
Your pledge is very important to us, as this will help us cover production costs and local crew positions, which once again, keep locals working and paid. So, not only are you funding a feature film, and getting something in return, but giving local businesses work.
