Connected as Aaron Gotlieb

Hi there!

I'm Aaron Gotlieb, co-creator of Dancing Monkey Cabaret!

I'm a puppeteer, an actor and theater technician in the Atlanta/Decatur area. A few years ago, I was in a creative slump. As an actor, you recreate other people's work. That's not to say there's nothing creative in the effort, but you are using someone's dialogue, someone's direction, etc. I wanted to add to the collection, rather than only work inside what already existed. Around that time a friend of mine, Geoffrey Brown, invited me to join him on a mad cap plan to recreate Vaudeville in the modern age.

Now, we create new shows every other month! It has been one of the hardest, most amazing, frustrating, exciting, terrifying and satisfying things I have ever done! I think Geoffrey would agree, except he just became a father, so it's probably more of a 'close second' for him.
