Come join Claymore this Tuesday, Feb. 9, 10pm, at The Playground Theater to help raise funds for their new creative endeavor to stream a monthly live sketch show online. This money will go to purchase the necessary technical equipment to make this dream a reality.
There will be raffle prizes galore and we've got a whole slew of talented people performing to make this evening one to remember; writers, tap dancers, stand-up comedians, rock and rollers. You won't want to miss it!
Also, the show will be broadcast live on UStream.com. More information can be found at www.claymoreproductions.com.
To get a ticket, you can do two things:
1. Pledge $8 (or more) at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ClaymoreAndMore/the-claymore-live-internet-sketch-comedy-show. Make sure you put your full name when pledging. Your name will be at the door and we will give you a raffle ticket.
2. You can pay $10 at the door and you will be given a raffle ticket. Proceeds will go to the fundraiser.
*WHAT ARE THE PRIZES, YOU ASK?*
1. Peyton might get a tattoo! If we get a pledge of $1000 from one contributor, Peyton will get that contributor's name tattooed on his back. Or if we reach our goal of $5000 by the end of the show, Peyton will get a tattoo on his back chosen by an audience member. And hopefully, if we can swing it, it will be live! Pledges can come from anyone and anywhere. You do not have to be an audience member to benefit from this.
2. Win an all expenses paid date with teen heart throb, Jeff Murdoch!
3. Get a Domino's pizza delivered to the theater!
4. Restaurant gift certificates!
5. DVDs!

CLAYMORE and WRITERS: Peyton, Brian, Josh, and Tyler (Claymore) will host this night of fundraising. They will be joined with the writers of the future live internet sketch comedy show: Annie Calhoun, James Chase, Eric Eyerman, James Gardiner, Zachary Hanes, Dave Maher, Jeffrey Murdoch, Drennen Quinn, Barry Schneiderman, Jo Jean Scott, and Daniel Strauss
ON TAP: On Tap Chicago (OTC) consists of four dancers from diverse dance backgrounds that have recently joined forces to celebrate the art of tap dance through improvisation and choreography. Since its creation in the summer of 2009, OTC has performed in several local shows including Cabaret Vagabond, Dramatis Personae's Artist Gumbo, Chicago Sketch Fest, and several improv comedy shows. Additionally, OTC traveled to North Carolina to perform in the Lake Eden Arts Festival in the fall of 2009.

Claymore met on the ground that spawns spontaneous creativity, otherwise known as improvisational theatre. While at university, these lone individuals found themselves combining forces to give birth to countless hours of entertainment, some say enjoyable, some say mind-blowing, some say who cares. In any case, the bonds created there would take them beyond the walls of university and into the “real world.” With a desire to continue to do what they love, they begat their own production company and website, an outlet to showcase the fruits of their creative labors.
