About this project

Hello,

A short film that I've been trying to make for 3 years: "TUB" is world premiering at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. It's about a guy who jerks off in the shower and accidentally impregnates his bath tub.

If you're still reading. Check out TubMovie.com for trailer, presskit, and other info about the film. It topped Cinematical.com's "Top 10 Most Enticing Short Films at Sundance." Hey, not bad!

I had no idea post-production, press materials, and travel expenses...would be so...expensive. Well, maybe I did and was in denial.

But, here I am. In Sundance - but struggling to afford it.

All told, finishing "TUB" and getting to Sundance will EASILY cost me $7,000. I've been selling things I own on craigslist, ebay, and half.com to try and make some money. But, it's not going to cut it.

I'm not asking for the whole $7,000. But, rather $2,500 to help cover the costs of finishing the movie and traveling to Park City, Utah (I won't complain if we can raise more though!).

TUB has been a passion project for me from the start. Funded by a student loan. Everything has come out of pocket. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Minimum donation is $5.

Bobby Miller is a 2009 graduate of Columbia University's MFA Film program.

His latest short film, "TUB" world premiered at the 2010 Sundance film festival and has went on to play SXSW, Cannes, and other film festivals around the world. (http://www.TubMovie.com for more info)

He's a two-time Webby award winning show producer capable of wearing any hat: from writing/directing, acting/hosting, to creating graphics, websites, and other digital media.

His previous work includes directing a stop motion commercial for VH1 and writing for The Onion News Network. His feature film scripts have placed at Slamdance, Scriptapalooza, and the BlueCat Screenplay competition.

He's moving to LA in June with several feature length scripts under his arm.
