Update #5: Meet Leah Smith, Another Artist on the Hear Here Compilation
Hey all...wanted to share a video from Leah Smith, a talented artist from Philly. We'll be featuring her single "Monster" on the Hear Here compilation. Watch the video to learn the story behind the song!
Update #4: We're Almost There! 24 Hours to raise $540.
Thanks to everyone who's made a pledge already! We really appreciate your support. Now we're in the final stretch!
Over the past week, we've finalized our roster and gotten started on producing the artwork. We've also been expanding our list of colleges who will distribute the project. It's been an exciting time!
We have a little over 24 hours to raise our final $540 to fund the Hear Here compilation. If you've already made a pledge, please spread the word about this project to your friends and encourage them to do the same. If you haven't made your pledge, what are you waiting for? You only have one more day!
Again, we really appreciate the support and hope you enjoy the project we've worked on. Looking forward to a great 24 hours, and a great release!
Update #3: New Genesis Is In!
Just got a preview of the single from New Genesis, one of the bands participating on Hear Here. Check out their video...it includes a sneak peek of their new single "Do For Love".
These guys are some of the most talented musicians you'll ever meet. They formed while in high school and recorded their first album upon graduating. Soon after, they relocated to LA. As individuals, they have been part of the touring bands for acts such as Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, Chris Cornell, Corbin Bleu, Jessica Simpson, and The American Idol Tour. They even did a stint collectively as Chrisette Michele's band.
These guys are the future of pop, soul, and R&B. Please support the Hear Here compilation with your pledge so that they (and bands like them) can get more exposure on college campuses!
