About this project
Courageous Crustaceans is our first episode of the Primordial Soup Series, soon to be completed in HD and in 3D. But the fun is not over yet. Through kickstarter the series will continue with 2 more episodes and additional new characters Flip and Flop, two fish out of water.
Project description.
In the beginning, before there was hunter and rabbit, or cat and mouse, or even coyote and runner, there were primordial creatures. You've probably always wondered how your favorite cartoon characters evolved into what they are today. Primordial Soup is the story of their earliest ancestors. Some survived, some went extinct, but they all had a story. Take the path of these proto-life creatures in a wild and wacky evolving world. Watch them go back to the first drawing board and invent the first gag traps. See them try to get the first girls. Witness the first practical jokes. Primordial Soup tells the story of the first act, the game of survival

Dayan Paul
After completing his MFA at School of Visual Arts NYC, Dayan spent over 10 years working as an animation and media consultant in the New York area. His freelance clients included Disney, MTV, the Time Warner Music Group, Pixel Light Digital Media, DC Comics, and many others.
In 2000 while living in Northern California he created the Flash animation "Dinosaur in Hollywood."
In 2003, he co-founded (with his wife AnnaSheila) Antipode Entertainment Inc.; “a content creation firm and production studio in Reno Nevada that creates animated, and live action entertainment, as well as interactive products ”. Antipode’s specialties include the writing, development, and production of animated shorts. Current projects independent projects include the animated series Primordial Soup, the Da Vinci Junior kids TV show, and the horror comedy film Hog Wild.
