I am a photographer and art educator. I also own and operate the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange, a biannual contemporary craft fair. My husband, Neal, is a writer and the online editor for an internationally distributed niche interest magazine. We love Indianapolis, particularly our east side neighborhood, Irvington, and we love doing what we can to make Indy a better place to live and a more interesting place to be.
Thanks for launching such places !
The creators need them.

Amanda,
Wow...the story of the founding of the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange sounds very similar to how I started Flint Handmade. I love your dedication to encouraging creativity in your community.
I know you have been successfully funded here, but I would still very much like to contribute to your organization in some way. Please contact me at flinthandmade@hotmail.com. I really look forward to talking to you!

I just wanted to congratulate you on meeting your goal. I also live in the area (english village) - I think it's great what you're doing for the community. I think we need more attractions like this. My lady friend went to the last Handicraft meeting a few weeks, or month a go. She said she really enjoyed it.
I will be sure to stop by once everything is up and running. I hope it all works out for you!
Good Luck!
