MASS SOLO REVOLT IS: Martin Brummeler, Jim Frye, Russell Sherman, and Dave Harrison
We hope to raise enough money to cover the production of special-edition cd copies of our new album which we need for press and radio promotion. Even in this digital music age, press and radio people still want physical copies of a record. This is actually great because it allows us to show who we are, what we are all about via our artwork, packaging, etc... We have managed to record our new record over the past 8 months by bartering and trading for time in "real" studios, and doing the rest in our own "project" studio. We have lined up more trades and barters for press photos and album artwork, and are stuffing jars with pennies saving up for the postage costs associated with sending out hundreds of cds to press/radio outlets.
We are hoping that if our friends and family and their friends kick in a dollar or ten.. we will make our goal and have this record out by Halloween!
The way we plan to run our Kickstarter thingy...
-any donation less than $10 gets your name on a list which is going to be printed on the back of a special edition "BEND IN TIME" t-shirt, and also printed inside the cd artwork.
-a donation of $10 gets your name on the list, plus a bumper sticker that will say "I support MASS SOLO REVOLT".
-a donation of $25 gets you on the list, the sticker and a copy of the special-edition cd.
-a donation of $50 gets you on the list, the sticker, the cd and that special-edition T-SHIRT.
-a donation of $100 gets you everything listed so far, PLUS 2 free passes to any MASS SOLO REVOLT show... AND we will take you out to dinner and hang out before show!!
-a donation of $500 gets you everything listed up to now, but also a PRIVATE SHOW IN YOUR HOUSE ... obviously if you live outside the continental U.S. we may have to figure out an alternative!
-a donation of $1000 gets you everything listed up to this point... PLUS we write a song about/for/to you.
-a donation of $2000 gets you everything thus far listed, AND WE NAME THE NEXT RECORD AFTER YOU.
Yeah, so this should all be fun... at the very least you would be helping 4 very hard-working fellas to keep on keeping on.
