Would you help someone you loved if they committed an indefensible crime? Or would you stand on morality's side and turn them in?
The burning question of this film is "What would you do for a loved one who has made a horrific mistake?" It follows the day of a grandfather who has just discovered that his granddaughter has killed her boyfriend in the heat of the moment. He has to make a choice between turning her in, covering it up or some other option that might not be apparent.
The story is told in reverse so that a sense of mystery hovers over each scene as the grandfather goes through a day full of seemingly routine activities until the real issue is revealed at the end.
