What is the money going to be used for?

I've already put my own money into this idea to create a sample run for the clothing line. However, if I want to actually put them into production, I would need extra funds. That's where you come in! With the help of Kickstarter, I hope to raise enough money to produce the first season of t-shirts, as well as pay for the shipping costs of sending out the rewards. I hope to use the money towards future products such as hats, tank tops, jeans and more great stuff.

What is the story behind TOXYK?

It all start back when I was 18 years old I start working in this surf shop back in Puerto Rico, at that time I was studying graphic arts and since high school I always dream on having my clothing line, so I start some research but at that time I didn’t have money to start a clothing line so I start just by making designs for other people. It pass 6 years and I decided it was time for me to start my own clothing line so made TOXYK a skate, surf and street wear, that not only defines your self it represents your lifestyle. I found there to be very similar design on many of today's brands. I think the brands that were originally considered skate, surf street wear are very different as today and they are stuck in just making t-shirts with the name and logo. I like to be different so that’s why I created toxyk, a clothing line that really represent what you truly are and what you like. I wouldn't say toxyk is a rebellion but it represents the difference. I created designs that inherently connected with the audience, and I tried to keep the difference as much as possible to be unique. At the end you would be wearing a high quality shirt with a design that you really feel that represents your self.

I named the season toxykly contagious. It's has a different ideas, I thought pretty hard about the concept behind each shirt, so I with all the ideas in mind I made different t-shirts that goes with all the ideas music, cartoons, street etc. I just want a person to choose a shirt, because they feel a special connection to it that really represent their lifestyle.

What I hope to really grab your attention with this idea. I've gone thru a lot of different things that happened in my life like my wife with out her wouldn’t be able to make my dream come true and my sons those are the greatest things that take a lot of my attention for along time and the other thing the concept and designs, I didn’t want to start until I was truly confident that I was creating something great and different.
