We’re The Alex Mallett Band--an indiegrass/new-timey band. We’ve been playing our original songs to the good people of New York City and Brooklyn and we’re ready to release our first Album. But we need your help!
We need 4,320$ to finish recording the album, mix and master it, and manufacture our Special-Edition Banjo Socks, download cards and CD’s. This amount covers our basic expenses so we break even. If we reach beyond our goal we’re going to tour and hire a publicist so our music can reach more people!
These songs get stuck in your head for days—they’re funny, reflective songs of love and loss and Brooklyn.
The Alex Mallett Band Special Edition BANJO SOCKS! will be available with download cards of the EP. Designed by Alex and the good people at Ozone Socks, only about 150 pairs exist in the whole world. Socks are more or less a men's medium size, but really it's one size fits all... CD’s will come in unique big floppy discs as CD cases. Ya know, the ones they had in the library when I was a kid (maybe when you were a kid, too).
Alex, Nico Dann (Drums) and Alan Biller (Bass) have been playing to great reviews in Brooklyn and Manhattan and look forward to sharing our music with you.
