Hi! I'm Cecilia. I make jewelry from sterling and fine silver and sell it on my website, www.shyviolet.net. I've been making women's jewelry for years, primarily using gemstones and wire, and in the last few years I've added silversmithing to my repertoire.
I'm excited to be launching a men's line, beginning with cuff links. I have a number of ideas - Shy Violet's men's line will be classy, detailed but not fussy, ideal for the boardroom or a fancy night out with that special someone. The perfect gift for the gentleman in your life!
Precious metals are amazingly expensive right now, and that's one reason I've turned to you, Kickstarters! With funding for the additional raw materials, I can get this line off to a great start.
The other, even more important reason, is that I would LOVE your feedback on the line as it develops. I plan to post pictures of each pair of cufflinks, in process and once they're finished, on my blog. I would appreciate your feedback on which designs you like most, ideas you have for new designs, and any other comments you have as you watch the line develop.
I made this pendant a little while ago:
and thought a similar design would be a good starting point for the cufflinks. This one is shiny, but I may oxidize some of them. And it's partly up to you! Let me know what you like.

Yes! I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world. Jewelry is small and light so it's not a huge expense. For international shipping, please add $5 to help cover this expense. However, for any contributions over $100, I'll be happy to cover the international shipping too.
Please be aware that international shipping is not always super speedy. :) I'll be shipping regular USPS, which should reach most places in a couple weeks, but I can't guarantee it. If you want expedited shipping, please let me know and I can look up the cost. Thanks!
