Kickstarter

Hi, I'm Davey Brown.  I live in Washington DC, and I play mostly acoustic music (though this EP is live with a full band).  I've been working on a live EP, and everything is almost ready for release.  That being said, I want to put this record out on my own, and to do that, I need to raise a little money.  I can get it done relatively cheaply, so I've set a goal for the budget that isn't too high.  This project means a lot to me, because music has always been a huge part of my life, and I couldn't live without it.  This is the first of two EP's I plan to release this year.  This one will be a live recording, as I mentioned.

So the plan is to release at least four of the six live tracks we have, on CD and digital formats.  There will also be three videos that were professionally done during the concert that will be on the EP.  My goal is to have everything ready to put out in the middle of August of this year.

Blount Floyd is mixing and mastering the EP.  Tina Pell was kind enough to do the cover art.  Jackson Styron did the video for this page, and plays Steel guitar with me live. My lovely wife Valerie helped me out with the budget.  There are a bunch of other people who have been supporting me from the very beginning of this project, and I am very lucky to have such wonderful folks helping me out.  I'm grateful to them, and to you for backing this project!
