Promotional Code is comprised of four jazz musicians who met at the University of Northern Colorado.  The band features Hayden Holbrook on acoustic and electric drums, Austin Day on tenor saxophone, Josh Skinner on electric and acoustic basses, and Kate Skinner on vocals and keyboards.  Josh and Kate formed the group with Hayden in 2009 and it became the quartet it is today when Austin joined in 2010.

They have performed at a variety of live venues throughout the Denver metro area, including a featured performance at the Fort Collins Jazz Experience in the summer of 2011.  Their shows contain a mix of jazz, r&b, fusion, and hip hop and all members of the band use both acoustic and electronic elements of their instruments - accessing technologies that bring a fresh sound to the music.  They can be heard performing originals by members of the band as well as covers of songs by Erykah Badu, Beyonce, Marvin Gaye, RH Factor, Michael Jackson, and Jill Scott (among others).

Please be a part of the debut album by this dynamic group of musicians.  The record will feature two distinct musical directions: one half will be a modern acoustic jazz setting and the other will utilize the electronic explorations and elements of fusing multiple styles of music that the group has become known for.
