The concept is unique, and I likeit. I am so sorry you guys didn't get funded. I think if you take into consideration the criticism of Ad Exec. below, you might be really succesful in raising the funds needed next time. Dont be discouraged. Give it another shot if you are so inclined. All the best!
Nak, nak...who's there??? Hey guys, congrats on your success!! I'm in Portland, OR now...we should catch up!-Lindsay Nak
May I make a suggestion?
Your video takes toooooo long to come to the point.
I could not even wait half way with the real bad streaming of the video.
Make a video showing what you got (product) at the BEGINING so if people get interested they may want to find out about your project.
The entire videos should be less than 60 seconds to keep peoples interest.
This is a 'sales' job what you need to do here:)
You have not sold me yet....but I assume the project is cool.
Take this advice from an old advertizing executive , who knows what he's talking about.
People have very LIMITED time and want to see something of an interest, like... right now!
Am taking the time to let you know how to make a better presentation.... nothing personal.
cheers
Ryan and Trevor! i have always admired these amazing drawings. I have mad faith in you two's work, but i will still wish you the best of luck!
Coming to do a presentation at a backer's school or workplace is very cool :-)
Thanks a lot for joining our project Gail. Meghan has been a real champ in spreading the word :) And the cards are coming along well! We're tweaking nuances to reduce friction (among other things).
Love the cards! I can't wait to see it in person! Good luck with backers!
Thanks Henry. BTW, we took a look at your blog, and, as we're based in NYC, if we do any local lectures we'll let you know!
This project is exactly the sort of oddball endeavor that might not find funding from any other "legit" source for which, I believe, this website is perfectly suited. I whole-heartedly support this!

Let's get going, potential backers!
