Datev Gallagher is a graduate of one of the top film schools in the nation, FSU College of Motion Picture Arts. She has worked on over thirty short narrative films and documentaries in various positions from Director to Production Designer. She is now a freelance video editor and a full-time video blogger on her website youtube.com/ladiedottie, which has reached over 16,000 subscribers. Datev is the writer and director of IN THE GROVE and above all else Datev considers herself a storyteller.

Datev: You are such an inspiration to young people. You have a drive and determination that I envy and admire. Because of your fabulous attributes, I thought it was essential that I donate to an artist like you. As the arts aren't funded as much as other programs, I was very happy to see that a website like this one existed. People have lost touch with the beauty of the arts and I feel the struggle to keep it alive every day. I am a musician and I am currently studying architecture. Throughout my life, I have always tried to show how wonderful the arts can be. With dedicated artists like you, we can all make a difference.

for all of you not into film, its expensive. equipment, programs, locations, props, paid crew/actors, craft services! it adds up quick. then submission prices, etc.
