A behind the scenes look at the musicians and organizers of the 2011 Doe Bay Music Festival: The best festival you've never heard of.

Sarah Crowe, CB Shamah and Dan Thornton have been working on this documentary since March of 2011.  In that time, we and dozens of other local filmmakers, have worked together to chronicle that local treasure we have come to know simply as the Doe Bay Fest.  In the DIY spirit of that festival and of the vibrant greater Northwest music scene, we are asking you to help us reach our goal of $8,500.00 so that we can complete this film in time for late autumn festival submissions.

So far we have interviews and live footage of dozens of Northwest bands including, The Maldives, The Head and the Heart, Champagne Champagne, Ravenna Woods, Lemolo, Cobirds Unite, Damian Jurado, Tony Kevin Jr., Fort Union, John Vanderslice (SF), Campfire OK, Brian John Appleby, Keli Schaefer, Pickwick, Sera Cahoone, Mash Hall, Don't Talk to the Cops, Fly Moon Royalty and Ben Fisher...wow, I'm out of breath...did we really shoot all of these bands?  I guess we did.  Like we said, we have been working on this since March.

Your contribution will guarantee that the music and the musicians featured in Welcome to Doe Bay will reach a whole new audience and you can show the world why the Pacific Northwest has the best music, the best fans and the best music scene on the planet.  Won't you please consider making a contribution today?

With the deepest gratitude and affection,

Sarah Crowe, CB Shamah, Dan Thornton
