For those who appreciate the dark side, dice featuring a skull face on every side.
My first attempt at launching HYDRA DICE included a wide range of styles all in one project, and did not reach its goal. However, in the process I learned many things, and can now with confidence begin anew.
First, I discovered that since my primary concern is getting the dice made, it is not necessary that I mass produce them at first. There are 23 completed designs made in 3D design software, but there's no reason that I should make all 23 from the start. Instead it is now my intention to launch each style of dice as a separate project, and to produce them on a small scale. Each set will be cast and finished by hand with great care using high quality materials, and based on very high quality mold positives made by high end 3D printers. The final result should be not only high quality dice, but each set can be made to order in custom colors. This will be a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in the making of dice.
The initial costs will include the high quality 3d printed positives made from STL files, RTV molds, and high quality resin for castings.
This method also means that the bottom line cost will be much lower than the previous attempt.

I have decided that if international shipping is higher, I'm going to pay for it myself (within reason). My reasoning in this is that these people who are helping me do this are worth more to me than the cost of shipping by far. If you pledge, you get your dice no matter the shipping cost. That's my commitment to the supporters of this project. It might not be first class shipping, but the dice will get there. I'll eat the cost as long as it's not more than the cost of the actual items being shipped. I know that sounds a bit mad, but it's important to me to get these to the people who want them.

When I designed these, I did initially feel that the design was to protruding to allow easy rolling or level seating on a surface, so I actually had to (for lack of a better word) squash the shape to make it more level with a flat surface. The design you see it the result of experiments and compromises to get it to feel right. I honestly don't think it will be an issue in die rolls. I may try posting a nice close-up of the design graphics to show how level they are. In some ways they shape is almost an optical illusion that appears to stick out a lot, but is actually pretty level on a surface.

No, they're not metal, although I may consider adding a metal version in the future. They're intended to be cast in professional grade plastic resin in multiple colors.

Everyone who pledged for a set will get one. However, if you pledged for multiple sets, you will get as many d2's as the number of d4's in your package. So, if you got sets that include a total of 7d4, you will also get 7d2. That's a lot of coins!
