Darleen Saunders says: I learned this from my sister long ago. Her philosophy was to re-frame no's into yeses. For example if a young child asks if they may to learn to drive, instead of simply saying, "no, you can't drive you are too young", say, "yes, you may drive when you are 16". After using this re-framing of no's into yeses, it became a habit. Then it morphed into really thinking about yes more often.
