The Storm Theatre needs your help to fund our 2012-2013 season!
The Storm Theatre is seeking funds for our 2012-2013 season.
We have consistently gotten excellent reviews - the New York Times hailed us as "excellent" and "first-rate theater!", Time Out New York said we were "smart and energetic". The Wall Street Journal called one of our productions "a peach!". To the Village Voice we are "ambitious" while the New Yorker labeled us "energetic" (I sense a pattern here!).
We are all that and more. What we aren't is flush with cash.
The New York theatre scene is a very competitive one, and we cannot compete with television-star casting and million-dollar marketing budgets. You won't see our show advertised on the top of a taxicab or in a full-page ad in the Sunday Times.
What you will see from us are stories you won't find told elsewhere. The Storm Theatre is devoted to finding the lost plays, the unjustly forgotten, and bringing them to New York audiences in ambitious, smart, first-rate and yes, energetic productions.
For that, we need your support.
