Legs is a fairy tale puppet show about the dangers of trading body parts with a crooked legs salesman!
We need puppets! The concept for Legs, originated from a simple conversation between Ian Schoen and Gita Stulberg about a leg salesman, a one-legged man and what would happen if they encountered each other on a train... you know how the story goes. The conversation was brought to life when, Ian and Eric Meyer sat down and wrote the script. And then we brought the idea to Eleanor Boynton, to create the design aesthetic, setting the old time-y and slightly haunting tone. Now, the scene is set, the story is written, but without the rehearsal/performance space and materials to make the puppets this project will never come to fruition. We need your support to make this happen. Please give. The world needs new fairy tales.
