Hi Everyone!

My name is Julie Pinzur and I run Mokuyobi Threads, a fun company that makes bags, clothing, and general radness for the Super Beings of Earth and Beyond.  Our small runs of backpacks and crazy prints are what we're known for but I wanted to do something bigger and better (not to mention new, exciting, and fun) for our Fall bag collection.  Introducing The Bedford Bag.

Whenever you buy a bag for yourself you have to think, "What am I going to use this for?"  Backpacks serve different purposes than over the shoulder bags which have a different use than tote bags.  

The solution is a bag that's a fusion of a backpack, over the shoulder bag, and tote bag: The Bedford Bag.  This bag covers all ground for wherever your day takes you.  

When you ride your bike you can wear it as a backpack if an over the shoulder bag keeps getting in your way. If you're out and about, easy access to your bag is a breeze with the tote handles. If you need to be hands free, just clip on the messenger strap and and rock on.

There are four color options of the Bedford.  Two solids and two pattern.  

Solid- waterproof nylon

• Red/orange nylon with 3 travel themed patches

• Bright blue nylon with 3 travel themed patches

Pattern- heavy twill fabric + waterproof nylon

• Lighted Arrow print w/ golden yellow nylon

• Rad Sack print w/ black nylon: ltd. ed. artist series print by Adam Smith

The solid color bags come with 3 quirky travel themed iron on patches to make your bag yours!  Stick them on your bag, your fave jacket, or give one to a friend!

Bag weight: 1.5 lbs

With the samples made and everything in place this is where I need your help!

Production isn't cheap when producing a high quality product locally in the US.  Please help me raise money so I don't have to send this product to be made overseas!  

With your help this bag will be made in a cut and sew plant in Indiana.  All of the materials have been locally sourced:

• Printed fabric- North Carolina
• Nylon Fabric- Indiana
• Hardware- California
• Labels- Illinois
• Foam- Minnesota
• Webbing- Oregon

The top pocket is perfect for smaller items like your keys, phone, wallet, and glasses.

Here is the large main pocket which has a padded laptop compartment where you can fit a laptop up to 15".  It is shown here with a 13" Macbook air:

The Bedford Bag lining is white waterproof nylon.  It is very easy to clean and the white color gives you a higher visibility when searching for things inside your bag.  The entire bag is machine washable.  Please air dry.
