I agree with Adam and Gina

As a graphic designer, I agree with Michele, you have to see spot color versions of any logo to make sure it will work for more basic applications. That being said, i think either option 1 or three lend themselves to good spot color versioning. I love the three dimensionality of the doughnut on the third one as well as the placement and kerning of the font for "doughnuts & coffee". I also think the white text with brown outline technique on the third logo makes it much more legible that the first two, however the specific font selected for this logo is itself not legible. The best font is the second one, however I think it would look best over the third logo layout, and treated in the white on brown style used there. Good Luck with the decision making process!

I think they're all great - but I think #2 wins. I do love the donut on #3 though.
Creator Adam Garcia McCarthy on May 9, 2012
I like the font and placement of the lettering on #1 and the doughnut graphic on #3.

Michele is correct about the 1-color versions on both light and dark backgrounds. Also look at how it scales down for web and print. Can't wait to taste some goodness!

l like #2 best.

I like #1 the best - for the same reason that Sarah Weeber does. The graphics are my favorite - and it enphasizes the doughnuts. Well really it emphasizes REVOLUTION DOUGHNUTS and coffee. In my opinion, it is the sharpest of the three, and I think it would transfer well to any background. #3 is my second favorite (mostly because of the emphasis on the doughnuts - but I like the bubble font too.) I'm so excited about REVOLUTION DOUGHNUTS!

Agree with Sara and #1 emphasis on donuts first. HOwever, I worry that you may have the Starbucks scenario where you become more than "coffee and donuts" and limit yourself with your logo... But those are problems for a later phase!
As a branding professional, I hope you'll consider which logo best lends itself to a 1-color (spot-color) version, and how it would appear on both dark and light backgrounds (think t-shirts/mugs/ aluminum travel mugs/mint tins, etc...) These are the problems you get into after you've already committed to a brand identity and thinking about it after the fact is a nightmare! FOr that reason, I'm inclined to logo 3 with some modifications for 1-color use. THe dark outline make a nice contrast. Logo #1is also better with contrast, though the donut outline may have to get dropped in 1-color. NOt trying to get ahead, but please ask your designer to make you other versions before you commit! They are all great!

I like the third one the most. It looks the most doughnut-like. Can't wait to try one!
Creator Sarah Weeber on May 7, 2012
I like the first logo because of the old school "varsity" graphics, but mostly because it emphasizes doughnuts first, with coffee as a secondary element. It's eye-catching, clean, and doughnut-centric. (Very excited about the test batches!)

I really like #2! The first one looks a bit like an old-school music label. Good luck!!
Creator Lisa Landers on May 7, 2012
Awesome logo options! I pick the top one and the bottom one as my second choice.
