                                       MOdular Desktop Organizer

Introducing Modo (Patent Pending)

Modo stands for "Modular Desktop Organizer". Modo is an easy to use addition to your desktop. You can customize Modo to fit your storage and organizational needs. Modo's strength is in its ability to adapt to any environment and accommodate a large variety of objects you use daily.

Why Modo?

We found that most traditional desk organizers didn’t offer enough flexibility, were overly compartmentalized and forced your devices and equipment to conform to them. Modo is a fully customizable plug n organize system that will adapt/comform to whatever devices/equipment/technologies you use both now and in the future.

What is Modo made from?

We placed a premium on sustainable and durable materials. Modo consists of 2 materials - Bamboo - A natural warm material that is ecologically responsible and Aluminum - Matte finished aircraft grade aluminum. Modo is approximately 8in by 4in by 0.6in

Protective Capacitive Caps

Each Modo set comes with protective caps. Not just caps BUT capacitive silicone caps so your pins can also be used as a stylus - Both long and short pins. Each Modo set will have 10 protective capacitive caps.

Using Modo?

With Modo you now have endless combinations for customization. Plug the aluminum pins into any combination and you are ready to go (examples in the video). There are 4 cable management channels and 3 USB flash drive slots. Modo can be used to organize anything from pens, letters, paper clips, push pins, USB flash drives, CDs, sticky note pads, charging and sync cables, phones or tablets (with or without a case) and much much more. Modo blends in easily at home or work.

Next Steps for Modo?

To make Modo durable, high quality, and cost-effective we have partnered with a manufacturer that has been instrumental in the creation of many top brands. Together we have developed several fully functioning final prototypes and have finalized our production plans. We are now ready to mass produce Modo and we are asking for your support to raise funds for the manufacturing processes.

How will the funds be used?

The funds raised will be utilized for the development and manufacturing of Modo production tooling/molds, packaging design, manufacturing and meeting MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) requirements of our manufacturers. The past 8 months have been filled with designing Modo, materials testing, prototyping and building relationships with key manufacturers.

We have put a lot of time and our personal funds to get to this point and look forward to working with the Kickstarter community to take this all the way. We are now ready and feel confident in our timeline below.

Modo was designed by Jelena Tomic and Bojan Smiljanic of B&A Studio and is managed by Adewale Adelusi-Adeluyi. We are a fledgling design studio and our cumulative backgrounds are in industrial design, illustrations, engineering and marketing. We place a premium of well thought out design, attention to detail, time management for our projects and customer service.
