NOLA CORE is back with another CORE project! As a manifestation of Mardi Gras and Fertility, Bebe brûlée is a massive King Cake Baby

Representing the Greater New Orleans area through the Burning Man CORE project, Bebe Brulee will be a 20ft interactive sculpture consisting of a 15ft king cake baby standing a top a decorated king cake temple. We need your help to birth this baby! We need funds to cover construction materials and transportation to Black Rock City.
 
Bebe Brulee takes its inspiration from the small plastic baby found inside king cakes which are common for the Mardi Gras season and other festivities in the south. But Bebe Brulee will be much more than a giant king cake baby with a golden crown that shoots fire into the sky, This bebe is a symbol of looking at the world through the eyes of a child- fresh, enraptured, captivated. Bebe Brulee is an interactive art project that is a call to action for all to have an open heart that is a sponge for learning and loving. Bebe reminds us to be playful and greet the world without prejudice - not just as infants but each and every day of our life. It is the art of our inner child. Please help us bring it to Burning Man 2012!
