A real shame this didn't make it. I can't understand why it oly made less than a third of the required funding. I hope something crops up guys.

Attention Backers!
Once again, THANK YOU for supporting our Kickstarter bid. There's 2 hours left for a
miracle - but I'm not exactly counting on that!
I will be keeping your info handy and updating with our future development and funding plans - this may include another look at Desura and/or a second Kickstarter bid, with a refined message, brand new assets, and hopefully a true 'vertical' slice that truly conveys Gravitaz's spirit and energy.
This experience with Kickstarter has been tremendously educational, and I think that the interest we've already generated in our pre-alpha product has shown me that though our success may be delayed, it _is_ inevitable.

I raised my pledge just because you supported Linux from the start, even though it may not make a difference now...
Creator Matthew Cisneros on May 9, 2012
Dammit. If this doesn't succeed, please make sure to keep us backers in the loop. I would be glad to follow you guys wherever you go.
Creator Adam on May 9, 2012
I really want this game to succeed.
please consider ideas from digital realities 'Skydrift' to extend the hover tank idea.
Creator Mike York on May 8, 2012
Lood luck guys I hope your able to meet the goal! Im behind you 100% and if you guys need some animation help down the road send me a email anytime! I am also a new game developer here in Colorado and we all need to help each other out and grow. Make a scene its time to put Denver on the map as Game Developers! Proud to be apart of it can't wait to see what you guys create.

I think S. D.'s suggestion is very wise (I'm also a backer of Vigrior), and if we don't succeed here, I'd be happy to either back again at some point, or engage in alphafunding on Desura. :)
Creator S.D. - Ask me about Armikrog. on May 7, 2012
Looks pretty grim, but I kicked for Linux anyway :-)
Dennis, please consider Desura's alpha-funding program, as well (though I believe it will require a usable, if not playable, demo). Might be a good way to gather both beta-testers (especially for Linux build testing to save on testing resources, since Desura supports that OS). Recently funded project "FleetCOMM: Operation Vigrior" has done this to transition from their (very modest) kickstarter to Desura as a alpha & beta testing channel with modest-but-usable community features (built-in message board, community rating system, etc). Their current alpha is a fleet maneuvers designer, sans gameplay (offered for free, currently), and in August they will post a beta with gameplay that backers will be supplied with keys to redeem, and new pre-orders/alpha-funders could pay for the same access.
Seems like Gravitaz could do something similar.

Yeah sorry I only watched like a minute of the vid and didn't look at the interview ^^
Creator Dennis Dryden on May 6, 2012
Gosh, @dao2, I don't know how much clearer I can be than I was in the last part of the vid that accompanied the 4th update: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/954522547/gravitaz/posts/218545
...and also as I said in the interview - posted in the 5th update a little while ago, here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/954522547/gravitaz/comments…
Allow me also paste the relevant quote:
"I can promise you that Gravitaz development will continue, in the background for a bit, but you’ll be seeing more of us."
You should check those out!
Regardless, there will be more updates about Gravitaz after the funding period has ended, successfully or not!

Not to be a dick or a naysayer but incase this doesn't get funded as atm it's not that close to it's goal... is there any plans to bring this game to completion regardless since it's so far along already?
Creator Dennis Dryden on May 1, 2012
@Mathew Cisneros - that game looks cool, I'll try to play it if/when I get a chance! Thanks a lot for your pledge :]
Creator Matthew Cisneros on May 1, 2012
This looks/feels reminiscent of Extreme-G. That makes it awesome and therefore worthy of my pledge.
Creator Dennis Dryden on May 1, 2012
5 CONTROLLERS LEFT o.o!
Creator Dennis Dryden on May 1, 2012
@dao2 - Wow!! Great to have you on board!
I want to address your concern (...which has indeed been raised by others before): we investigated the pricing of the various rewards, including the involved shipping and handling, before settling on the tier levels. Even in a Worst Case Scenario (assuming, of course, we get funded!), we'll still have enough left to make the game and still dish out excellent rewards.
Also: new update soon.
Creator dao2 on May 1, 2012
Throwing my hat in at $150, hopefully it'll reach goal.
Also the reward prices for a t-shirt and stuff seem really low, not sure if you're gonna see a lot of development money left over at $25...
Creator Kerwin Lumpkins on May 1, 2012
Go Broomfield! The game looks great. I look forward to seeing it.
Creator Matthew Grosvenor on April 24, 2012
Any chance you could release what you have as a alpha/beta/prototype demo to backers to test out, because it looks really good.
Creator Valentin on April 24, 2012
This game will be so awesome!
Creator Nate Madsen on April 24, 2012
I'm really pumped about this project! Please spread the word so it meets the goal!
