At Last!!! A Chance For You To Play A Direct Role In Bringing Together All The Cultures Of The World Community Through Our Own Original American Art Form. JAZZ, America's Gift To The World!
Find out about our successful tour and how it has grown, to our surprise and delight, into the first ever Native Jazz Workshop this year, August 13th-19th, in Sitka, Alaska at the Sheldon Jackson Campus, new home of the Sitka Fine Arts Camp.
Now you will be able to enjoy Native Jazz in Sitka every year, where you will experience a student body of all ages and attract an international audience and. Last year’s tour was amazing for the Quartet and the audiences, and we were all very excited by the power of the Native/Jazz fusion. Now you will be able to bring native melodies of your own native background, and we will give instruction on arranging and composing them in the Jazz idiom. As an audience member put it, “It’s an amazing way of re-discovering your own music”.
