Short on time but you want to build a civilization?  From Red Raven Games, the people behind the board games Empires of the Void and City of Iron, comes Eight Minute Empire.

In Eight-Minute Empire, 2-4 players take turns selecting a card from six displayed. The card gives a good, and also has an action that the player takes immediately. Actions help players take over the map, but sets of goods are worth points at the end of the game, so players have to balance the two aspects. Eight-Minute Empire is the super-quick area control game with tough decisions. It's easy to learn and perfect for when you only have a few minutes.

New Stretch Goals!

(COMPLETED) $20,000-  Variable Goods Tokens:  These are tokens with goods symbols that can be added to the map for more varied play.  If a player controls a region with a good token, he counts it with his cards when calculating victory points at the end of the game.

$30,000-  Components for Five Players:  Eight-Minute Empire will support up to five players. 

$40,000-  Revealed when we reach $30,000

Other Information

Q: What is the Europe Board expansion?  A: The Europe Board expansion adds another double-sided board to the game so players have 4 maps to choose from instead of just 2.

Q: Why is the delivery date so far away?  A: We want to make sure that we factor in time for possible production delays.  Most likely, you will get your game before the delivery date.  But for this reason we have made the print-n-play files available for backers.  Back and enjoy the game right away!
