Rise Above Theatre is the newest, hippest, and ambitious group ever to hit Los Angeles.  Rise Above is taking Los Angeles by storm.  After an amazing 5 week run of Gurgis' Last Days of Judas Iscariot, we are pleased to bring back a classic - a revival that hasn't been seen in Los Angeles in the black-box format in nearly 15 years! 

Rise Above needs your support to present this play in a unique, original way; that blends the way Sorkin intended it to be:  a multi-level, modest set that relies heavily on dialogue and character development.  If funding is successful, props, authentic costumes, and military Guidance can be had.

A Few Good Men is a play by Aaron Sorkin that tells the true life story of David Cox from events at Guantanamo Bay in 1986.   With some theatrical liberties taken, this all ages production always has a story to tell:   Determination =Humility= Satisfaction.

Rise Above would like to dedicate all performances to the Men and Women who serve the United States.  If funding is successful, we will be offering free tickets to all Military (active, reserved, and retired) - we will also be honoring a Hero of the Night at each and every performance.

Our Funding will be broken down as follows: $1700 to Costume, $1500 to Publicity, Marketing, and Set Design, $1300 to Theatre Rental Deposit at Lounge (I) on Theatre Row in Hollywood.  Please help us reach our goal!
