Have you ever been at a loss as to what cheese to serve with which wines? We have a beautiful infographic poster that will make the matching fun and easy.

Background

Asatte Press is an Austin-based publishing and social media start-up created by a husband and wife team, David and Tomoko Hetherington. The products they have been working on focus on skills learning through various media including books, social media and software. Their hope is to create a better day after tomorrow by enhancing customers' personal skills and confidence.

Currently, David and Tomoko are in the final production stages of their first book, Systematic Martini Lifestyle. Asatte Press is also developing the accompanying iOS and Facebook application, ClassyU. The book and app aim to help young men acquire the sophistication and polish to confidently host and participate in more formal entertainment events. The book and software apps deliver a systematic introduction to the materials, utensils, techniques, etiquette, clothing, and history surrounding occasions such as the dinner party, cocktail party and wine tasting. 

Goal

Before bringing the book and software apps to market, we have decided to put out a series of infographic posters in order to learn about our audience and start to deliver our skill enhancement tools in a fun and useful way. We need your help to fund the initial print run of the posters. While it is possible to print posters digitally one at at time, the cost is prohibitive for most prospective customers. Being able to do a larger print run will drop the unit cost of the posters dramatically and allow us to bring the resulting product to market at a reasonable price.

"Wine and Cheese: A Love Story" is the first in a series of infographic posters that present the information within our book in a concise and straight-forward way. The origin, history and relationship between cheese and wine are detailed on the poster, and we're confident that it will give viewers a conversational edge at any happy hour or soiree. 


About The Product

All of our infographic posters, logos and additional artwork have been created by students from The University of Texas who are interning with us for the summer. "Wine and Cheese: A Love Story" was created by Stefanie Schultz, our promotional products intern. The information within the poster was compiled from research done over a period of 3 months for Systematic Martini Lifestyle.

The poster is laid out for 14.4"x42" printing. Here is a picture of David Hetherington standing next to the poster on 8/29/2012:
