Kickstarter

Well after 21 years as a band (All original lineup 1991-93 and 2003-present!!) We FINALLY have gotten the much-dreamed-of European Tour!!! If you've seen us you KNOW we're gonna rock their socks off!  As well,it will be a real Laugh Riot getting to hang out with Scott and Glenn for 10 days!!! I've been there many times with 2 other bands,but this is special and a life long dream,that at 53 I finally have a stab at fulfilling.

We dont have the $$$to pay for Raven's ticket or rent a bigger van this first tour we do as 3 piece.,But even so we are coming to you to respectfully request some help from our listeners,to help defray the expensive air fares,the gas and the station wagon we are gonna rent!!..we are going to barely break even or go a little in the hole.as things stand plus being away from our nyc work during that time.

  .Any extra $$ beyond that will be saved to get a head start on going back to Europe this Summer for 10 days again,hopefully with the demented Raven  bringing us up to our mighty full strength!!!  As we pass the tip jar at our nyc bar gigs,we are passing the on-line tip jar here at Kickstarter!!For NYC'S  Original Rockabilly-Surf-Punk-R&B-Swing combo..Keeping the spirit of NYRR Alive!!

Brooklyn Rod & Gun 57 Kent av its cool place!!! our kickstarter campaign is getting close to its goal… But no harm in exceeding that goal—We are going to tour Europe in FEB 2013 and we have had to lay $$out for airfares—gas over there is $10/gallon…we are getting paid to play (you know me I don’t play for free) but this is our first tour of Europe (after 21 years as a band!!)

Our expenses are Airfares-renting a station wagon—gas gas gas—the exchange rate is shitty (weak dollar) we are trying to sleep on peoples floors etc (I have to buy a new sleeping bag)
But if we get real tired,dirty,cold, we would like to stay in a hotel 1or 2 times so we can sleep in ,have a hot bath( remember its going to be February) very important to not get sick on the road!!! And hopefully we will 1) be able to go back to Europe again (with Chuck and in a van) and 2) not be late with the rent!

Anyhow our expenses will exceed the income,SO we need help to make the gap smaller— THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!!! Heres the Kickstarter link:
