The Parkview Community Garden group is a grassroots organization of neighborhood residents and supportive individuals from the Idora Neighborhood on the south side of Youngstown, Ohio. The group’s primary focus has been the construction and maintenance of a community garden on Parkview Avenue, which was the former site of an abandoned and blighted apartment structure. The garden provides healthy food options, a valuable educational opportunity, and a big source of pride for the group and nearby community.
