As of August 28th, 2011 we were 80% funded in our quest to be able to manufacture, and deliver our high protein nut butters to stores around the country, but lacked the final 20% of our funding goal. We lost our entire operation on August29th of 2011, from the flooding waters of Hurricane Irene, here in Vermont. Our building, equipment, inventory and pride were taken from us. With no fundraising, or help from our insurance company, we suffered a complete loss. Our strength showed no wavering; however, and we rolled up our sleeves and began working on being back in business. Within 7 weeks we found ourselves in a new building,and back to the grind. Now that we have secured our feet again, we simply need to finish off our original funding goal to make this "Better Peanut Butter" a reality, and not just a dream. Our products and vision of a healthier human race, was not going to be squandered by some wind and water. Our goal is $25,000, and with that money we will be able to purchase a faster custom grinder, additional mixing equipment, and implement a promotional campaign that will enable us to keep up with current demands. Delivering a REAL product that is naturally high in protein, that is GOOD FOR YOU, fun and without any chemicals or preservatives, seemed to be worth every bit of effort.
