Thank you all for making this project a reality for Andrew and I. From the bottom of our hearts, we owe everything to you and will never forget where we came from and those who helped us achieve this milestone in our lives. 

With less than an hour remaining, we hold our heads higher than we ever have, confident that we will make you all proud. We cannot illustrate enough how these last 30 days will forever be with us, and know that we will build the feelings and emotions we have experienced into every aspect of the work we continue to do. 

You haven't simply funded a comic book with your pledge in exchange for some nifty rewards; you have shaped who we are and what we will become. We want that to be first and foremost in your thoughts as the clock ticks down. We hope that each and every one of you stays in contact with us as we travel down this trail that we blaze, as we would love nothing more than to keep this family close to us through the years. 

We will be posting updates from time to time to keep you informed of what is going on in regards to production, and can't wait to get this book out to you all. Remember, this is merely a glimpse of what we have in store for all of our readers, and are beyond excited for the opportunities that rest on the horizon.

This is but the beginning, and miles from the end.

The Times, They Are a Changin'

Here we are, a mere 56 hours away from the end of our fundraiser. There's an eerie calmness between Andrew and I these last few days; a drastic change to the frantic and emotionally expansive past three and a half weeks. Finally, we have the ability to breathe and look back over what you all have helped us build, and we couldn't be more at peace. 

We started this project not really knowing what to expect; two long-time friends with an idea, and a craving to do something original, genuine, and inspiring. Today, we see the fruits of this dream blossoming, thanks to all of you. Each and every pledge made to this project, no matter how large or small, has meant the world to us. 

Now, in the final days of our Kickstarter, we see the limitless horizons beyond, and are so appreciative and excited to bring you all with us on our journey. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, has been more motivating and exhilarating than seeing your comments, your messages, and your continued support to Backslider during these last 27 and a half days. 

YOU have given us the fuel. YOU have stoked the fire. And now YOU can say you're responsible for bringing this project to life. No matter what the future holds, each and every one of you has their name etched on this cornerstone we've all built, and will see traces of it with every block we place from here up. Andrew and I may be the creators, but this is really your project. We want you all to remember that. We sure will.

We will be posting one final update on Monday, before the end of the fundraiser, commemorating this grand achievement we've all earned. Remember, this is but our first step. We can't wait to continue the march with you all at our side.
