Update #5: Florine EP on WHITE VINYL (limited edition) UPDATE
hi everyone, and happy valentine's day.
i just wanted to write and let you know that your records have not been lost in the mail... i'm still waiting for them!
i've actually been told several different times they were on the way.. and then more weeks will pass..
i'm very sorry that it's taken so long. it makes me feel really bad, especially when i've asked for a confirmation on delivery and it still doesn't come when promised.
the latest i've heard is that they are supposed to arrive this tuesday. i really, really hope it's for real this time..
thanks so much for your patience! i know what they mean when they say vinyl takes forever now!
hope everyone is good.
julianna
ps if you've moved or need to tell me something about your order please feel free. thanks
Update #4: COMING 2ND WEEK OF FEBRUARY (FOR REAL!)
hi everybody.
well! i have a real, confirmed delivery on these records and i will be able to ship them to you the second week of february. i'm sorry it's taken so long but everyone along the way has been backed up with vinyl-related projects, from the mastering to the pressing plant- i'm sure due to the recent surge in popularity of vinyl... and the holidays in between.
i can't WAIT to see them and love them and ship them out to all of you.
thanks for your enthusiasm and patience!!
hope you're good.

Update #1: HOORAY!
i'm so excited about the progress happening here and want to thank everybody who has pledged/shown interest so much! it's really special/nice to be doing this together.
just wanted to point out a few things for everyone-
you WON'T get charged if this project doesn't happen (but let's hope it will).
also, there's been a little confusion on acceptable payments through amazon so i just wanted to copy and paste here what those are:
'Amazon.com accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard, Visa, Visa Check Cards, payment from your bank account, Amazon.com gift cards, Amazon.com Gift Card claim codes, Amazon Store Card, and Webcertificates.
We do not currently accept international wire transfers, PayPal, or Smart Cards. For grocery purchases, we are unable to apply manufacturer's coupons, food stamps, or any other payment method not listed above.'....hope that helps
and lastly, i'll be mailing these overseas and don't need extra shipping money- i sort of figured my goal amount of $2,500 by what it would cost to make the actual records and ship them.
thanks so much again.

Julianna Barwick is a Brooklyn-based musician who has self-released two
records. 2007's Sanguine, a collection of loop-based vocal arrangements,
was made in her bedroom and completely improvised. 2009's Florine EP adheres
to the same loop-based, mostly vocal structure with minimal
instrumentation. Pitchfork recently recognized her as a 'Rising' artist
and named the track 'Bode' from the Florine EP as 'Best New Music'.
