The LumiHoop has been developed to offer the very best to hoopers, and is something that I feel passionate about. A lot of time and effort has been put into this project so that every hoop I make is as good as possible, long lasting, and is the best hoop you can buy.

The LED's are sourced from one of the worlds best LED companies and are known for their brightness and efficiency. Two recessed buttons let you change the color and the pattern of the LED's in your hoop instantly. These two buttons also allow you to simply turn the hoop off and on, so their are no switches to accidentally turn off or cut yourself on. This is a very cool design for which I am actively seeking a patent for.

Quality HDPE translucent tubing is used for the hoops, with your choice of an outside diameter of 1" or 7/8", and are available in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. I will have more information on the sizes after I talk to more of my hooping friends and get their input. If you have a suggestion for the sizes, let me know!

Care has been taken so that the hoop is not too light, nor too heavy, and is rattle-free! I wouldn't want a hoop that rattles, I don't imagine you would either. ;]

The hoop has been specifically developed to go to outdoor events and is sealed from dirt and dust, and is also collapsible.

The inside of the hoop will either be taped or sanded as per request. If you prefer custom tape, I can recommend a good place to get some.

The hoop comes with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and a wall charger. The battery can easily be removed from the hoop for recharging, and will last at least 5 hours. Additional batteries will be available for long weekends, or to swap out with a fresh one if you forget to charge the one in the hoop. The electronics inside the hoop have been designed to be as efficient as possible, so that your hoop stays brighter longer.

In order to get this project off the ground and into your hands, we need enough people to back it so that we can do a large production run and keep the price per hoop reasonable. So spread the word to your friends and family and together we'll all be hooping in style!

Note about the videos and pictures: I currently have prototypes of hoops with 16 and 21 LED's, yours will have 21.
