We're in Fast Company Co.Exist today!
Exciting news -- Fast Company's site Co.Exist, which covers world changing ideas and innovation, covered US!
http://www.fastcoexist.com/1679918/a-tour-guide-for-public-art-in-your-phoneToday marks the last week of the campaign and so it's awesome to have some press, but even better to be on the radar of such a noteworthy tech publication (Fast Company happens to be one of my favorites.)
Enjoy the long weekend!

Below, find our photo of San Francisco art for today - a mosaic I walked past at the Powell St. Muni station on Wednesday that was created by more than 300 homeless adolescents.
About the work:
This mosaic was made by 309 adolescent homeless youths from San Francisco's Larkin St. Services, which, according to its website, provides 3,600 homeless, runaway and at-risk kids between the ages of 12 and 24 with the help to rebuild their lives each year.
Ages of kids involved were from 10 to 20 years old. The work consists of 96 panels, 2 ft. x 4 ft. each, set in 24 sections. Materials include tile, stone, glass, metal, and skateboard trucks. The panels cover a range of topics from homelessness to violence, gender preference, and substance abuse as well as cultural issues.
Peter Carpou, a master muralist was the lead artist for this mosaic and dedicated to mentoring homeless youths. " I don't ask them to become artists," he told the San Francisco Chronicle in 2003, "I ask them to express themselves."
