The first ever Food Book Fair, a three day-long conversation and celebration of food reading and writing taking place in Brooklyn May 4-6 at the Wythe Hotel. Generously donated by Elizabeth T. Jones!! The event will highlight cookbooks, memoirs, magazines, and books about science, food systems, agriculture, urban design and food art and culture; we envision the Food Book Fair will be a meeting place for food enthusiasts from all food disciplines. The weekend will focus on furthering discussions from all aspects of food culture and will include a pop-up book and magazine fair, signings and a series of panel discussions.

Whether you want to learn how create a spreadsheet or make your spreadsheets work better and faster, this lesson will help elevate your skills.

Learn about music from Ofir Ganon! The pledge will be good for two sessions. Here is Ofir's class description: My approach will be kind of my own way of seeing the guitar as a versatile string instrument. This one is from Peter Lawrence at the Wythe Hotel. We're so excited about this, we have one King Room with a Manhattan view on a Monday - Thursday night!!!! Located on the west side of the building, this room has a postcard view of the Manhattan skyline and floor-to-ceiling windows. It has 1 king sized bed, sleeps 2 people, and is on floors 4-8.

Unisex Icelandic Wool Fisherman's Cardigan. Donated by Marlow Goods!! All of our wool goods are made from the raw fleeces of Icelandic and Dorset crossed sheep from Gansvoort Farm in Germantown, NY. We sorted the wool at shearing last Spring and then took it to a small, family run mill in Connecticut called Still River Mill. There the wool is washed, sorted, and spun into yarn. The yarn is shipped to us, and we take it to Flushing, Queens where it is hand-loomed into sweaters, and then felted for increased softness and warmth. The Original - Cow Leather Bag - Green Each week we receive grass-fed cows, pigs, goats, lambs, chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits from allover New England, upstate New York and Pennsylvania. Everything is broken down and portioned out to the restaurants at our butcher shop. The only part of the animal that we were not using was the hide. So, after 10 years of dreaming together of a simple leather goods brand, we found a tannery in upstate New York who would custom tan the cow and pig hides of the animals that we serve in the restaurant. They are picked up from our slaughterhouse in Troy Pennsylvania and taken to Gloversville, NY. for tanning. Once the leather is tanned and colored it is taken to our bag maker in midtown, NYC. All linings are made of organic canvas, our zippers are riri, and our hardware is solid brass. • This cow leather is valued for its suppleness and ability to conform and mold to the wearer over time • Width: 19 inches / Height: 14 inches / Thickness: 4 inches • Canvas lining, pocket and zipper Reward includes two tickets to our triumphant dance party.
