Update #29: The Beginning of the End
We're back -- and with exciting news.
The official HENRi trailer is about a week out from its official release.
Keep your eyes on your emails and on henrithefilm.com, and make sure you've "liked" HENRi on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/henrilives) and are following us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/henrilives). We'll be posting the most recent news about the release on those pages.
In the meantime, take a look at what we're doing now: assembling an edit of the film to send it in for final color, which will be finished this weekend.
Also, backers who opted for the reward of the Production Book with photos and artwork can take a look at those limited edition copies in the photos below: all signed and numbered.

Update #28: New Name! Website Launch!
Hi All,
Eli here with two big updates regarding the film. First, if you have been following our Facebook posts, you will have noticed that we officially changed our name from HENRI 2.0 to HENRi. Simple, elegant, and human.
Second, our official website is now live! www.henrithefilm.com is our fancy new home. Very special thanks to backer Steven Schlotterbeck for his amazing work on our new site. Check it out, and be sure to sign up for the mailing list via the "Get Updates" link to get the latest news and release info.
What's next? We are wrapping up the remaining effects tweaks, and taking a final pass at the sound design over the next two weeks. From there, we have several days of color-correction, then the film will be complete! We are putting the finishing touches on an awesome trailer, and we'll release that on the website very soon. Things have been rather quiet, but now we want to really start spreading the word about the film, so please let your family and friends know about HENRi.

Update #27: HENRI 2.0
Hi All,
In preparation for our official website launch, please visit our brand new Facebook page and "like" us:

There's a ton of new content on there, including new pictures and storyboard frames. We'll also be releasing updates via Facebook more frequently than Kickstarter, so be sure to "like" us, and stay in the loop. We want to gather as many fans as we can leading up to the website/trailer launch, so please help spread the word. Post on your wall, "share" us with your friends. Let's see how many fans we can get in the next two weeks.
Again, be sure to check out the soundtrack on iTunes and Amazon, and help spread the word on that as well. Show your love for Kevin and the awesome music he composed for the film. I can't thank you enough for your continued support! Looking forward to sharing more.

Update #26: HENRI 2.0
Hi All,
Eli here with another quick update for you. We are just finishing up the final tweaks to the last dozen vfx shots or so, and they are looking fantastic. Once all the shots are delivered, we will do a final color pass, and then the film will be complete!
I have been working with one of our backers on a really great website, which we will be launching very soon. The website will have tons of new content, as well as a first look at the trailer. It will be our new home once it goes live in the next several weeks. We'll announce it here.
I have included pictures of the "Making of Book" reward for the backers who pledged in that tier. It looks really nice, with tons of pictures, and will give you a great sense of the making of the film.
In other exciting news, the official soundtrack, with original music by Kevin Riepl (www.kevinriepl.com), is now available for download via iTunes and Amazon. Check it out and help spread the word. Kevin did an amazing job on the score:

Update #25: HENRI 2.0
Hi All,
Eli here with another quick update for you. We are painfully close to being 100% complete with the film! This final stretch is in many ways the hardest, because the film has taken shape and we just want to share it with everyone already. However, we are taking the time to finish things up right, as we have with every step of the process. I want to reiterate how appreciative I am with how patient and supportive all the backers have been. I never expected this short film to have a yearlong journey through post, but then again, I never thought I would be fortunate enough to make this very personal and unique film in the first place. Another big thank you to everyone who donated and/or helped spread the word.
So, what’s next? When can you expect to see the film and receive your rewards?
While the film will be complete in a matter of weeks, it will take a little longer to get the rewards out. We still have quite a bit of work to do to master the project and produce DVDs/Blu-Rays. We are also deep in the process of submitting to festivals all over the world. Stay tuned for some big announcements, as well as the launch of our official website where we will premiere the trailer (backers will get an early sneak peak). With the holidays, I think it’s realistic to say that the film will be delivering after the first of the year.
Below, I have uploaded a near-complete shot of Henri from the film. The video quality isn't the best, but it at least gives you a glimpse of the beautiful work the effects guys have done. The hope is that you believe in Henri as a character and forget the effects. Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Writer / Director Eli Sasich has an extensive background in film production, and his portfolio includes narrative, and experimental films, documentaries, and commercials. He loves genre movies, especially the sci-fi films from the 70s and 80s.
Very excited! Can't wait to see the film! Can't wait to get my autographed/framed print either -- been saving a spot in my home theater for it since I first pledged! :) This film is going to be awesome!
Oh, and there looks like there's many more books than people who pledged at that level... If there's an extra one laying around..... I would love to know how to get my hands on it :)
