Hello Kickstarter peeps!

Thank you for your possible interest in supporting my career...

My name is Zack Andrew, I am a street performer who has made my name playing free shows in the streets of Santa Monica, Las Vegas, and on youtube.  It was a true game-changer when i realized that I could pay my bills through the voluntary donations of total strangers, old and young, rich and poor...  

Its been a wild, up-and-down couple of years.. but i couldnt say i would trade it in for anything.. as a matter of fact theres a few ways in which i havent.

I still have currency from 14 different countries (and two arcades!):

I still have poker chips from almost every casino on the strip:

I still have a couple notes of heartfelt appreciation:

I still have some really cool fan art:

I still have all the memories and a few friends that i picked up along the way, as well as the growth and experience of being in one of the toughest professions(try it)... its truly a romantic profession(depending on your definition of the term),
The aggregate feedback so far indicates that I could potentially play a little bit larger role in this music thing.. the current obstacle however, is the fact that i am not going to outpace my expenses on street performing alone:  
equipment deteriorates from the heavy road wear, good performing spots get crowded out randomly with louder and wilder acts, and i regularly have to choose between paying traffic tickets or buying groceries...

That leaves me with some options if i want any kind of investment in the long term future of this art: I could possibly find a manager or agent, I could possibly give away rights to my music and likeness to show on Americas Got Talent or some equivalent..
But I've never forgotten a good piece of advice:

"Dance with the one who brung ya"
It was voluntary donations and purchases from you all that got me to this point. So I figure before I kowtow for the beast (the industry) I should see if demand is high enough to support this art on its own yet...

So this kickstarter is my tip bucket.. and like I do when I get a fat crowd on the street i will share with you the cover song that convinces the most ppl to drop a buck or two:

In the event of excess funds:

if amazingly there is an excess of funds, it would go toward the similar production and promotion of my next two CDs: A beatsNstrings Street Fighter Tribute, and my first acoustic guitar looping/beatboxing/rapping effort.  If there were excess funds further than that.  It would go towards manifesting my ultimate vision: A live stage show, incorporating fingerstyle guitar, beatboxing, live looping, electronic beats, and rapping seamlessly throughout eachother.  Which would mostly require a macbook pro, ableton live, a MIDI footswitch board, and miscellaneous other audio equipment.  This is a vision i have had for 2 years plus but I can never get ahead of the rat race to realize it.  Still holding out hope cause hope is my only fuel for survival.
