Printing a scientifically illustrated pamphlet that will solidify the superiority of my nematode research over that of my rival.
The 8-page 2-color stitched pamphlet that is the target of this Kickstarter campaign is the final installment of a public art project that started two years ago.
As part of this project, in which a marginalized autodidact tries to convince the public and his "colleagues" of the value of his research, pamphlets demanding action ("Stop Nematode Training", reprinted in the Society of Nematologists newsletter) and recognition (only I know the amazing secret to extracting a pearl from a nematode) have been sent to nematologists around the world, and handed out in New York City subways and parks.
'I Was Right' represents the final proclamation of my authority over my failed (yet credentialed) rivals. In it, I describe my discovery of a new genus of nematode and its brilliant strategy for distributing its offspring.
Distribution will be similar to previous pamphlets. Of this print run of 1000, hundreds will be mailed directly to my large and growing distribution list of Soil Science, Entomology, and Nematology departments at universities and government institutions worldwide, and the rest will be distributed directly to the public.

The greatest difficulty in executing this project is standing in front of the public and trying to convince people that what's in my hand is something they want. Free literature, presented sincerely, is ignored with cold resolve.
