About this project

Following the success of last year's Pride Concert featuring music by Gay and Lesbian Composers, Russell Reed and Jim James in association with the Austin Chamber Music Center are presenting the 2nd Annual Pride Concert on July 22nd in Austin, TX.
The concert will feature works by Jennifer Higdon, Russell Reed, Eve Beglarian, Francis Poulenc, Ned Rorem, Benjamin Britten, and Samuel Barber.
This is a concert that is FREE to the public, and we are asking for support to supplement the payment of the musicians. 100% of the money raised will go to the Austin classical musicians performing in this concert.
It's a big roster of musicians--a woodwind quintet(WATERLOO SOUND CONSPIRACY), a trio of strings, LIZ Cass, Mezzo-Soprano, and none other than PAUL SOILEAU--Austin gay icon and legend--performing a spoken word piece with Russell Reed.
The concert is set and the rehearsals have begun. Please help support classical music and the LGBT community in Austin by giving whatever you can.

Remember: This is a FREE concert, and 100% of the money raised will go to the musicians.

Check out the awesome REWARDS we are offering for support!
