About this project
This show is a culmination of two years of work- it's been sitting in my studio for a long time, and I think it's time for people to see what I've been hiding.

So here it is:
The Concept: Using imagery that is un-abashing to it's perversity and provocation, my large scale sculptural paintings communicate themes of sexuality, death, and a glimpse of alluring darkness. The show is loosely titled "Allure of the Macabre," and is about the allure of the darker side of things, the human curiosity of the afterlife, and romanticism of death and illness.
The Presentation: This show really means a lot to me- it will be held in a space that isn't intended for an art gallery. I'll be creating a fully immersive environment in a warehouse, or storefront, or abandoned home- a space that has been lived in or worked in, and a space that isn't made out of four sterile white walls.
Your support will help me:
- Rent a space, and gather materials needed to install the work
- Frame and present the work
- Publish my first book, "Lush"
- Throw an awesome opening party- which you'll be invited to!
