About this project
The production team and I have completed the first issue of an original comic book project titled "Project-17," a sci-fi/horror take on why crude oil is such a valuable global commodity and how the creation of the first offshore oil rig ties into the creation of the Bermuda Triangle.
Format will be 30 pages, black and white, color cover. Created by C.Perrin and I over a decade ago, this story has taken many twists and turns but has basically remained the same.
The story and script was written a bazillion times it seems, by the time I got fed up with it in 2007- I asked ZEN from H.C.M.P. (Pink Power!, Dealer, Raver-J) to assist with flushing it out. Team AdWar from Indonesia, was picked to do the interior art and Omar Cruz, an indy-film maker from Puerto Rico came on board to add his coloring talents, while Maricela Donate, helped to create the original solicitation artwork.
The book is in its final stage as graphic designer, Jamilyn K. Parks is busy applying his talent to clean up in-house layouts and designwork. I'm hoping to reach a goal of $600USD in pre-order pledges to help offset the cost of production when this project goes to print in late October.

Independent comic book publisher and owner of Justus Global, which started as a custom skateboard deck designing/shaping rig in 2006, I've since expanded to produce T-Shirts, limited edition art prints/posters and now comic books ("Project-17," "Action Hero Mandy," "Supernatural InvAsians!," "Meat Farm," and "WorkingSnug"). Also published "Pink Power" by HCMP.
Currently working on designing a couple art books ("Sakura Studies #1," and "Atomic Brunette No.9" by Krista Augius), for release in early 2011.
