Kickstarter

As a recent college grad, I found my way to France to work as a primary school English teaching assistant in a small city in the Pays de la Loire. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I knew I would make it work somehow. And you know? I did. Now I'd like to write down the wonderful things I discovered and the way in which we think living abroad will teach us about others, but secretly it teaches us about ourselves.

We only have one life, and fear of crossing borders and exposing ourselves can't get in the way of drinking in all that life has to offer us.

I plan to use a memoir-based format to describe the delights I found, the mistakes I made, and the reasons I took so many pictures.  I will include helpful resources to living abroad, particularly working in France and teaching English.  There might be a joke or two, and a fair amount of sarcasm, and, if you ask nicely, some good old-fashioned life lessons.  I will self-publish in both digital and print format.
