About this project

Back in 1999, iHero Entertainment started something pretty special -- a superhero prose magazine. Not quite a comic book, not just another magazine. Something uniquely its own.

That magazine, Cyber Age Adventures, was the best and brightest of its kind. During our original six-year run, we won the Writer's Digest Grand Prize and helped shape the future of electronic publishing. Beyond the magazine itself, we created role-playing games, comics, anthologies and the world's very first complete superhero tarot deck.

We published just one print issue before we were forced to close our doors, leaving our second edition RPG unpublished and an army of disappointed fans.

Fast forward five years and we can now do what we couldn't do before... deliver our stories online through a plethora of channels. When we started, there was no iTunes, no Kindle, no iPad. There was no Print-On-Demand options for a magazine of our size and scope.

All that has changed!

The original iHero crew is excited to come back for a six-issue limited series, to tell the kind of stories we've become famous for, and to reward our long-standing fans with an all-new magazine.

Our new magazine is called "I, Hero," and we couldn't be more excited to bring it to you. We're raising starting capital through Kickstarter to ensure that we can deliver all six issues, and to give us the head start we'll need to see if our new baby can go on to become an ongoing series.
