Same as the $60 or $65 package (you decide) - plus Douglas or Mark will record a webcam version of one of our songs for you along with the story behind the song. Which one of us does it depends on which of us wrote the tune. This will be posted to http://www.youtube.com/marklindbostonusa and you will be personally noted as the sponsor of the "webisode". I had posted some of these last year and they were widely popular but I wasn't aware of how popular they were until after I deleted them and people started asking for them again. Hell, people have asked for DVD's of them! So you will get a webcam, Storytellers version of the song with a shout out to you as the sponsor. We can also provide you with a downloaded version of the video if you like. Remember: these are for existing Ducky Boys songs (or songs from any one of our other projects: The Westies, Dirty Water, The Eleventh Hour, The Unloved provided that Douglas or I was the author of the song). You can even choose a song off the upcoming record that no one has heard yet. We will need your top 5 songs in case someone else chooses the same song.... we think that is more fair than taking $$ from two people and just thanking you both at the front of the video. Some people like to hear the story behind songs or info about how songs are put together and structured. We'll give you the whole run down on all of it here.

Maybe you've always thought we would be the perfect band to cover "Eve of Destruction" or "Johnny 99". Maybe you're just curious what we would sound like doing a Weezer song for kicks. The song will be recorded lo-fi on our home demo equipment and sent to you as an MP3 via email. You will be the only person to have a copy of this unless you request to have it shared with the public, in which case it will be posted for free download on our website with a note of thanks to you. You will also be free to share the song with anyone you see fit, of course, since you're paying for it. You can choose whether Mark, Rich or Doug will record the song but you will need to provide a list of 3 songs for us to choose from. This is not only to weed out the nonsense of someone asking for us to do "Baby Got Back" but it is also necessary because some songs just won't work and there needs to be a back-up option to fulfill your purchased package. :)

We'll ask you some questions and get a feel for what you have in mind and what you want the subject matter and tone of the song to be and then we will go to the drawing board on it. Maybe you want a song written to your girlfriend or boyfriend. Maybe you want a song about a loved one that is no longer with us. Maybe you want to remember an experience or a change in your life with a song. Tell us about it, and we'll try to do it justice for you. That's how we came up with "Do You Wrong" from Dark Days; it's been done before and we can do it again. This won't be a half-assed endeavor. We will take your request as seriously as we would any song that has the potential to be recorded or released. The song will be recorded lo-fi on our home demo equipment and sent to you as an MP3 via email. You will be the only person to have a copy of this unless you request to have it shared with the public, in which case it will be posted for free download on our website with a note of thanks to you. You will also be free to share the song with anyone you see fit, of course, since you're paying for it. If your request is for an acoustic version of an existing Ducky Boys, Lind or Sullivan song then we will automatically share this with the public for free with a note of thanks to you for making it possible. ** The only caveat to this is that if we hit on something really good and catchy then we reserve the rights to re-write the words and record it on a future album if we decide. In other words, the song in and of itself (chords, structure and melody) will be the property of Bitter Bastard Music or Douglas Sullivan Music as administered by ASCAP. This is limited to 20 backers because we're not an endless well of ideas here like Prince is. Deliverable by March 2013, but quite possibly before that.
